Taylor Exteriors & Construction is a full-service exterior contractor — roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, gutters, and storm and fire restoration — with additions, garages, and concrete work coming soon. Owned by Sam Taylor, with over two decades of hands-on experience in the trade.

### Roofing
We install Class 4 impact-rated roofing systems across our entire lineup. Options include:
- **Malarkey Vista and Windsor asphalt shingles** — Malarkey uses NEX polymer-modified technology for superior hail and wind resilience. As a Malarkey Emerald Premium certified installer (Central Iowa's only), we offer up to 50-year non-prorated material warranties with 25-year labor coverage through Malarkey directly.
- **DECRA stone-coated steel** (Shake and Tile profiles) — a Class 4 impact-rated steel roofing system with a 50-year service life, rated against 2.5-inch hail, Class A fire resistance, and 120 mph winds.
- **Standing seam steel** — concealed-fastener snap-lock panels, fabricated on-site for exact fit. Wind rated to 120 mph.
- **Carlisle TPO, EPDM, and ISO** — for commercial, flat, and low-slope applications.
Standard residential roofs are typically completed in one day. Premium systems (DECRA, Malarkey Windsor) take two to four days. Every installation includes a 5-year in-house labor warranty.
### Siding
- **LP SmartSide** — engineered wood siding with a 1.75-inch hail warranty, 50-year substrate warranty, and 15-year paint warranty. Painted-in-place repaintable. Our default recommendation for the Iowa climate.
- **Royal vinyl siding** (Westlake Royal Building Products) — budget-friendly with wide color and profile selection, Double Lifetime Warranty.
Typical installation takes about a week. 5-year in-house labor warranty.
### Windows & Doors
**ProVia** windows and doors. Lifetime warranty on units, hardware, insulated glass seals, glass breakage, and screens. We prefer full replacement windows over pocket inserts for superior seal quality and maximum glass area. 5-year in-house labor warranty on installation.
### Decking
**TimberTech** composite and PVC decking. PVC line carries a 50-year limited lifetime warranty; composite up to 30 years. We design around multi-level, wrap-around, pool, and elevated deck configurations. All projects fully permitted and inspected.
### Storm & Fire Damage Restoration
Complete exterior restoration after hail, wind, and fire events. We document damage thoroughly so your insurance adjuster has what they need to process your claim accurately, and we install Class 4 impact-rated systems that leave your home more resilient than it was before.
**Important:** We are a contractor, not a public adjuster. We do not negotiate insurance claims on homeowners' behalf, and under Iowa law no contractor may waive, absorb, or rebate an insurance deductible.
