These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Taylor Exteriors & Construction website located at www.taylorext.com and any services provided by Taylor Exteriors & Construction ("we," "us," or "our"). Taylor Exteriors & Construction provides exterior remodeling and construction services including but not limited to roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, gutters, storm and fire restoration, and additions and garages. Services are provided to residential and commercial properties in Des Moines, Iowa and surrounding communities within approximately one hour of our location.

All services are subject to a written estimate and signed contract prior to commencement of work. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.

All estimates provided by Taylor Exteriors & Construction are based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work, including but not limited to structural damage, code compliance requirements, or material price changes beyond our control.

Any changes to the scope of work after a contract has been signed will be documented in a written change order and must be approved by both parties before additional work begins. We do not charge for initial estimates and consultations.

Payment terms will be outlined in your individual project contract. Generally, a deposit may be required prior to project commencement, with the remaining balance due upon satisfactory completion of work. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of contract signing.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges as outlined in your project contract. Taylor Exteriors & Construction reserves the right to suspend or terminate work on a project in the event of non-payment.

Taylor Exteriors & Construction stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Warranty terms for labor and installation will be specified in your individual project contract.

Product warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers — including Malarkey Roofing Products, LP Building Solutions, DECRA Roofing Systems, ProVia, and TimberTech — and are subject to each manufacturer's terms and conditions. We will assist you in understanding and registering applicable manufacturer warranties upon project completion.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of nature, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or conditions beyond our control.

By engaging our services, you grant Taylor Exteriors & Construction and our subcontractors reasonable access to your property for the purpose of completing the agreed upon work. You agree to ensure that the work area is accessible and free of hazards prior to our arrival.

We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during the course of work. However, we are not responsible for minor incidental damage that may occur as a normal part of the construction process, such as minor lawn disturbance from ladders or equipment. Any significant property damage caused by our negligence will be addressed through our insurance coverage.

Taylor Exteriors & Construction works with homeowners and property owners on storm and fire restoration projects involving insurance claims. We will provide documentation and support to assist with your claim, however we cannot guarantee the outcome of any insurance claim or the amount your insurance company will approve.

It is illegal in the state of Iowa for a contractor to waive, absorb, or rebate an insurance deductible. Your deductible is your financial responsibility as outlined in your insurance policy. We strictly comply with all applicable laws regarding insurance claim work.

Taylor Exteriors & Construction may engage qualified subcontractors to assist with certain aspects of your project. All subcontractors engaged by us are required to meet our standards for quality, licensing, and insurance. We remain responsible for the quality of all work performed on your project regardless of whether it is completed by our employees or subcontractors.
